Brief Description: spacers and gussets and supports - oh my!
With the squeezer it was easy to rivet the F-806A-L-1 & -R-1 Bulkheads to their associated F-806F-L-1 & -R-1 Gusset - those are the aft gussets in pic #1. For some reason, I had already riveted the front gussets so I just checked those off the list as complete. Easy. :)
The next step is to rivet the F-805B-L-1 Floor Support Angle and F-805B-R-1 Floor Support Angle to their associated F-805G-1 Gusset and F-814C-L-1 or -R-1 Inboard Seat Rib Angle. I had to locate the floor support angles as they were primed with a much earlier batch - but I noticed that the nutplates have not been installed...hmmm.
After some quick research - there is a spacer that sits on top of the floor support angle, and even though the drawings do not show it this way, the consensus is that the floor support and spacer get riveted together to the nutplates. The drawing actually shows that the floor, the spacer and the floor support all get riveted to the nutplate - but that makes no sense and defeats the purpose of having nutplates. So - I will be preping the spacers as they are in "like new" condition and riveting them to the floor support angle and the nutplate...in case you hadn't figured that out. But first I will be riveting the pitch servo brackets and bellcrank rib first off.
