I did the right side skin riveting starting with the F-824R rear skin and then followed back along the sides to the aft end where I riveted the F-828 / F-824 together. Then it was back up to the aft part of the middle skin where the 3 skins come together as well as the rear seat belt attachment is riveted to the longeron and skin. I did the left side with no problems – and I did the aft 4 rivets with no problems. But then I hit the wall. Maybe I was tired or the logistics of being right handed in that space was to blame – I don’t know. Regardless, I couldn’t get a real good left hand on the bucking bar and I kept cleating over the 2 remaining (-3) rivets. I set and drilled them out 3 times each before deciding to move on to the -4 rivets down lower. I drove this one fine but the shop head came out angled so I decided the night was over and I would drill it out next time. Frustrating!
