With the cold front that moved into north Texas - the shop temperature was hovering at 60 degrees (we are supposed to have close to freezing overnight)...is it really mid April? Well, I know I will be missing the cooler temps in 2-3 months, but it was a little cold out there.
I put the pieces all together on the firewall and then picked them off one by one to edge them on the scotchbrite wheel. I really didn't need to do it that way and it ended up taking more time - but it was a good level set to make sure I had all the firewall parts. The instructions say to just edge the parts, not to drill them yet - so that's what I did. As you can see by the second picture, I have the upper horizontal stiffener to edge and the firewall as well - it is stainless steel and needs to be deburred.
