Brief Description: Torque tubes and bellcrank assembly
23-2 Step 3: Pop Riveted the rod ends onto the torque tube with MSP -42 rivets. Step 4: Installed rod end bearings and jam nuts onto VA-169 Threaded rod ends. Initial adjustment, 94 7/16".
23-3 Step 3: Riveted the rod ends to the bellcrank to aileron pushrods with AN470AD4-11 rivets.
Step 4: Installed rod end bearings and jam nuts to the threaded rod ends.Initial adjustment was 25 1/4".
Step 5: Made two W-1031 Aileron Bellcrank Spacers from AT6-058 x 5/16 tubing.
23-4 Step 1: Checked length of Aileron bellcrank bushings and then reamed for a AN4 bolt. Deburred edges. Checked and adjusted length of bellcrank pivot tube for proper fit. Deburred, then installed bushings.
Step 2: Installe the W-421-L & R Bellcrank Sub assemblies into there respective wings. Torqued the bolts then checked for free movement of bellcrank assemblies.
23-5 Step 1: Match drilled the push rod ends in the long end of the W-1014 Aileron ForwardTorque Tubes. Deburred the holes.
Step 2: Repeated process as above for the short end of the W-1014 Aft Torque tubes.
Step 3: Inserted the Torque tube collars into the Forward Torque Tube assemblies then match drilled the holes for an AN3 bolt. Used AN3bolt as a guide.
Step 4: Removed hardware and marked orientation of parts then primed assemblies inside and out.
23-6 Step 1:Bolted forward TT assemblies back together then slid aft TT assembly onto it.Adjusted length of assembly for 17 25/32.Clocked the collar and aft TT ass. with a 5/16 spacer block under arm of aft TT ass. Forward TT ass. arm is flat on table.
Step 2: Match drilled the aft TT ass. with #30 bit. Final drilled holes #12. Deburred then reas
