Spent most of the time building the jig to keep these assemblies in alignment during the weld. Tapped the aluminum plate but not sure if the threads will hold. If not, I can back them up with nuts on the bottom side to keep the vertical rods snug. Snapped a 10-24 tap off thinking the aluminum would give a little more than it did. Oops. Sanded the bearing cages to accept the end plugs with minimal pressure required. Hopefully they won't stick in the cages when the welding is finished with each assembly.
