Finished glueing and stapling the first rib of the project! Each side used 5 strips each of resin/hardner on the bottom of a pop can. Worked perfect. The jig released the rib easily. I used the alternate method mentioned by Kevin. Tilt jig on its edge, load pegs, get second solid board and squeeze it against the bottom....POP. Next time I need to have the jig completely inverted to release the rib flat on the table.
Completed 2nd rib later in the day. More difficult to see when the sun is on the other side of the garage. I shot several staples too close to the edge of the capstrip and several legs tore through. I was able to pull them since the glue was still wet. I'm glad I looked before everything cured hard.
