Brief Description: Practice nut plate installation
Installed my very first nut plate to get used to the tools and procedures before touching aircraft parts. Drilled, deburred and countersunk a piece of scrap .025 chromoly steel for practice. I didn't have a #40 bit for the rivet holes and it shows with cock-eyed rivets. Used CCC32 rivets pulled with a G29 cherry hand rivet puller. Used a #40 120 degree countersink with a standard size cage and non-marring foot.
