Marked the oil door position, fitted the hidden hinge, layed up a couple of layers of fibreglass on the underside of the door and also this reinforced the hinge which was rivited on. Trimmed and fitted the cooling inlet ducts onto the upper cowl, epoxy glue into position. I trimmed them enough to make sure the ducts cleared the ring gear. Spotted this method on the internet and thought yep good idea, I blanked off the inside of the inlet ducts with some balsa wood and then epoxy glued them in and covered the balsa wood with the glue as well, to give a bit more strength.
