I made another wing jig thingy, this is to hold the wings while I paint them and scothbrite sand back. I have scotchbrited the bottom of the wing by hand and this took forever (OK a long time), so tomorrow I will purchase a small hand orbital sander and see if this is easier. Yes using my orbital sander with 400 grit disc to start with is a lot easier and quicker. I made sure the print on the wings skins (comes off with the blue plastic protective cover) was rubbed off, as I don't want this coming through the paint work. I then placed the wing in my home made spray booth and sprayed 3 coats of 2 pak primer on the bottom and 3-4 coats on the top (booth just big enough too get around the wing to paint). Next day I rubbed back the primer for any runs and bits of fluff etc, I want the primer to be perfect so my painted wing will look the goods. Now to paint.
