Brief Description:  Lense Cover

Sanding, sanding and sanding off the glass work I did on the wingtip angle. Nearly there just a bit more filler and it will be ready for a prime coat.
Fitting of the lense cover was a lot easier than I anticipated. I found you could actually cut the plastic with tin snips very easy. So a matter of marking the plastic and carefully trimming a bit at a time. Close to where I found it fitting neatly into the recess on the wingtip, I used my angle die grinder with a scotchbrite disc on it to take off small amounts, turned out great. Smoothed the edges off and drilled a pilot hole through the cover and fitted the platenuts after countersinking, love it.
I am mounting the new aveo position lights with stobes (these are really nice) so I have to fill in the hole with fibreglass where the original position lights went.
