Another moment where precision and care must be taken, the 'Panel' I clecoed the map box together and drilled out the holes. Next was to carefully mark where this rectangular hole is to be cut from the front of the panel. I used the template, drilled the mounting holes and then drilled the 4 x holes which mark the corner of the map box hole. Using a jigsaw I carefully cut out the hole and then filed flat and smooth the edges using a high tensile length of steel to file down onto the marked line, it turned out very nice. It's amazing if you take the time and care, it turns out very professional.
