Drilled the holes for the engine mount, deburred, and bolted on with heat resistant silastic. Back to the canopy, nearly there with the fitting. I made strips of platenuts which attach the slide rail to the fuselage (someone else did it on the internet and I thought great idea). Back drilled through the slide rail, rivet on some platenuts onto the strip and presto. Much easier than trying to fit fingers up under to fit nuts. Still fiddling with the canopy fit, nearly there, countersunk and enlarged all the holes in the canopy, drilled in place the slide rail as well so I can get a better slide fit without clecoes moving around.
