since I wasn't having luck riveting the side hinges. I made the decision to yank the engine, mount and all. I first removed the cowl and prop. Then jumped in with both feet. Came off real easy. I used a ratchet strap to maintain alignment. riveted the side hinges and lower firewall rivets.
