Brief Description: Readjusting the lower rudder fairing
I realized when I hooked up the rudder to the vertical, that the lower fiberglass fairing extended beyond the lower portion of the fuselage. I descided the grind off the primer and drill out the rivets in order to re-trim the fairing. In the end it was about 3/4" that I had to take off from the fwd part of the fairing. I cut a wedge, leaving the aft end as it was. I cut the fiberglass and trimmed it to fit. Now it looks like it was supposed to! Clecoed in place and I will probably make a more permanent installation tomorrow.
