I measured the sides of the fuselage around the firewall and marked up on a sheet of .063", 6061 T6. I also marked up spacer strips on a .032" 6061 T6. The spacer strips are 0.5" wide and the attachment strips are 2" wide. I used the shear at work and cut all the pieces. I clecoed the side, top and bottom pieces in place. Drilled, deburred and dimpled. Squeezed #3 rivets and attached the sides and bottom pieces. The top piece will be attached together with the top fwd skin.
