The inlet was matched with the air filter box and a foam ramp was added to match the mating angles. Fiberglass was added to to foam ramp to make it sturdy. After curing a sanding, another layer of exopy resin was used to caot the inlet. A 0.5" thick oil and fuel resistand soft rubber with adhesive on one side was added to the inlet. The inlet was then position and bonded in place to the cowling with a mix of West epoxy and flox.
