I signed-off some of the inspection points in the PAP checklist. So that I at least started the day on a postive note. These bug fixes seem to be taking ages...
I did some more work on the trim speed, using a 12 volt poser supply (13.5 volts at the EFIS). Got the traverse time down to 50-60 seconds. I'm not sure whether my screwdriver is engaging in the pot head, whether I have reached full travel, whether I have broken the thing, or whatever...very frustrating.
