Brief Description:  Complete Fuselage Side Covers

With their fresh paint, I was now ready to rivet the previously-prepared Terminal Blocks into the Side Covers. Four rivets and the job was done.

Next step was to find all of the left and right side wires that I had left lying about and connect them to the appropriate tabs. I can start to see it will be necessary to label all of these wires. Currently, I don't have a better solution than hand-written labels on sticky tape, but even that is better than nowt.

All this work required the fuselage to be right side up, but the later wiring needed it on its side again. In total, I rotated the fuselage 4 times today. Need to be careful, this isn't really a one-man job.

Picture 1 shows the Terminal Blocks mated to the the Side Covers.

Picture 2 shows the first wire attached to the inside of the Side Covers. Note bottom right where I have installed the OAT Probe. This now makes it harder to roll the fuselage on its side.

Picture 3 shows the aft end on the Autopilot Harness with seven spade connectors. These are to power the roll servo. I had to rob some of these connectors from the tail wiring inventory, so I have ordered more from Vans. Note miscellaneous strings and tubes to be attended to in due course.
