Brief Description: Further work on Optional Harness
Part of the autopilot wiring is 7 twisted wires embedded within the Optional Harness that are joined to a separate Autopilot Harness that is routed aft. The seven wires from the Optional Harness are routed to the left side, under the seats. These feed the pitch servo. It is quite difficult to get the wiring into the correct rib hole, then put spade connectors joining these to the section of cable that goes aft.
The really hard bit is at the last part of Step 8 where you have to get a cable tie through a rivet hole, around both bundles, then back through the same rivet hole. After many attempts, skinning my wrist in the process, I compromised. I got one tie wrap around both bundles, then linked a second through this and in/out of the rivet hole. Should still keep stuff anchored.
Picture 1 shows some of the spade connectors. Picture 2 is looking down from the top showing the junction of wires going fore-aft, and those branching off to the left under the seats.
