The headset harnesses terminate in jacks on the outside edges of the seats. The smaller diameter socket needs to be insulated from the fuselage (ground). I found the diagram really confusing - mostly because the packet containing the cables had more washers than depicted in the diagram.
After consideration, I came to the conclusion that the diagram is correct (albeit confusing) and there are indeed too many washers. We'll see in due course if I got this right.
Picture 1 shows one pair of jacks installed.
Picture 2, at the end of the day, shows the junction between the fore-aft cable way and the cables coming from left and right under the seats. It's getting busy and we're not done yet.
