It is easiest to add connectors to the fans on the bench before installation. See Picture 1. The plans indicate you need to hook up a 12 volt battery (or supply) to the fans to find air flow direction, as one is installed pushing air up, and the other down. I did as required, then noticed that the fans have an arrow on the side of the casing showing the airflow ;-)
Picture 2 shows the left fan, which blows up - label on top. The earth wire is attached to the mounting screw, and an Adel Clamp is positioned adjacent for routing cables. The loose cables routed over the top will be tidied up in due course.
Picture 3 shows the right fan, which blows down (label down).
