First job today was to add a washer to the the rudder bar - that I found lying around from the previous session - careless!
The order for a 10-24 tap arrived today, so I was able to complete the assembly of the spar pins.
Picture 1 shows the various bits, and Picture 2 shows them assembled. The plans call for the little handle to be screwed in with loctite, but later calls for removal and possible grinding down of the "bullet" tip so that the electronic sensor works correctly. I think I'll leave the loctite for now.
I mentioned to Vans that I was shipped the incorrect diameter plastic tube for making the wee handles. I subseqently sourced this elsewhere. Today, I got a package in the post with two inches of plastic tube. Vans are amazing!
