Brief Description:  More sanding

Back to drudgery. Another tank leak test, and with the same result. More holes gooped. I really hope I can get to a position where nothing leaks.

More sanding too. Back to the canopy fairing. I drilled the holes to replace the screws that were removed at the outset. I also had a go at trimming the fibreglass where it is lying on the canopy skirt. With careful use of a drum sander on my Dremel I got most of the fibreglass off without too much damage to the underlying metal. I'll need to talk to Tim about a couple of rivets per side that have been the victim of the sanding. It may make sense to drill these out and replace them.

Final job for today on the finishing kit was to rivet the trim panels under the landing gear. Tim had inspected the plane while it was at the airshow, and agreed I could button up these panels. See Picture 1.
