Another session sanding the canopy fairing. I used some car body filler to fill some of the pinholes, then spread a layer of epoxy over everything, with some black dye included. And the result is a mess. See Picture 1. Seems the epoxy doesn't like the filler. Nothing I can do right now. I'll need to wait until it is dry.
In disgust, I pulled out the fuel tank and tried another leak test. You guessed it. It leaks. At least the holes are different ones, although all in the area of the sight window. More goop, and leave for another week, I guess.
Time to start on something new, and more motivating...
