Picture 1 shows the worst hole for chipping. This may well be obscured by the retaining screw, but I know it is still there!
Picture 2 show the left Canopy Skirt rivetted on to the canopy frame. The clecoed top holes are where the retaining screws for the canopy are inserted. The front five holes are flush riveted, and I will be (partially?) covered with a fibreglass fairing.
I made larger spacers for the Canopy Guide Plates, but these are still slightly too thin. Maybe third time lucky. The roll bar paintwork is getting a bit battered with all the trial fitting. Seems to me the Guide Blocks on Page 34-11 should be fitted earlier to limit damage.
