I had previously cut (with a hacksaw) and primed, the Panel Attach Strips. Today required attachment of more nutplates, 9 per strip. See Picture 1.
Picture 2 shows the strips riveted to the forward fuselage skin in-situ. It would doubtless be easier to do this on the bench, but I wanted to make sure the would be no future alignment problems. The keen spotters will notice the garage door on its side.
