Picture 1 shows more nutplates, this time being applied to the panel shelf. This is grey underneath (in case you peek under the panel) but just primed on the top side which isn't normally visible.
Picture 2 shows the second set of two Engine Mount Brackets. These are easiest riveted from the underside. I started from the top side, changed my mind, and had to drill out a few rivets.
Note the Instrument Stack Supports in Picture 2. For European planes with Mode-S transponders replacement brackets are shipped with the avionics kit. These are required as the Mode-S transponder is longer than the US-one. There is therefore no point in installing these brackets. It does mean that wiring (Section 31) cannot be completed until these brackets are installed. It may be worth ordering the brackets early (F-12328)
Picture 3 shows the Panel Shelf in place, riveted to the firewall and the longerons. As ever, it was easy to place rivets in the thick longerons.
