Brief Description: Prepare various Section 29 parts
Standard work today preparing parts - separating, dimpling/countersinking etc. Lots of work involving nutplates has been skipped until the parts are primed. I'll have to reread and complete lots of work on these three pages in the plans.
Picture 1 shows a Mid Cowl Hinge and a Spacer clecoed to the Firewall Upper.
Picture 2 shows work on Strut Attach Angles (P 29-04 Step 4). Some one-inch angle needs to be trimmed and accurately drilled for a nutplate. I found it easiest to pilot then finish drill the centre hole, then put a bolt through the nutplate. I then used this as a template to drill the rivet holes.
A cold day, so I appreciated having the heater in the garage.
