Now that the fuel valve parts have been psinted (unnecessarily) I could progress the installation. Picture 1 shows the valve attached to the brackets with two rivets.
Picture 3 shows the "red knob" added. The know comes through the cockpit floor. Pull it up to turn the fuel off.
Now I just need to permanently attach the assembly to the fuselage with a couple more rivets. This can wait until I have finally installed and tightened up the fuel lines. I'm still waiting for thread sealant to do this - it's taking an age to arrive.
I also did a little work on the "aircon". I riveted the door parts together. I cannot install the remainder until the inside of the side skins is painted - and I understand from LAS that the next consignment of primer is on a boat somewhere in the Atlantic, or hopefully ON the Atlantic.
