Brief Description: Further work on the seat bulkhead
Picture 1 shows two Bulkhead Doublers (previously separated) riveted to the bulkhead, and riveted to each other, this is on the forward face of the bulkhead. The join between the two parts hides two rivets that had previously been squeezed for the wing stub spar receptacle. This shot shows another bunch of rivets that are squeezed to consolidate the work on the receptable, on the other side of the bulkhead.
Picture 2 shows one of the two Control Column Mount Assemblies now riveted in place on the aft face of the bulkhead. The part sandwiched between the two plates is pretty chunky. The W-shape you can see shows the limits of throw of the control column once it is mounted. I was bothered about making the apex of the W smooth for all three parts, but it turns out this is not critical.
Picture 3 shows the aft side of the bulkhead with both assemblies in place. Note there are also many nutplates that need to be riveted on to the bulkhead. This gets tedious...yawn.
