Brief Description:  Complete right wing skeleton

Frustration at the incomplete flaperons made me consider what else I could do while waiting for replacement parts.

I had previously decided I could not build two wings simultaneously for space reasons. However, I am hoping that my inspector will arrive soon (within a few days). If he can bless both wings I can get them skinned and mounted in my wing rack. This will free up much needed space to start on the fuselage.

So, with the blessing of my wife, I commandeered all of the garage. With the help of a neighbour I moved my completed left wing skeleton to trestles, and reinstalled the right wing (with main ribs done) on my workbench. In short order I had attached the nose ribs. These are "much" easier on the right wing as all of the ribs have the rear flange trimmed off, so don't need to be riveted to the spar. I don't understand the logic - seeems to me that the left wing is much stronger than the right one.

Visually, the day has been productive, though I have no space to move any more, and I don't know how I will erect my big spray booth to prime the wing skins. That's a problem for another day...
