Brief Description:  Prepare flaperon ribs

Here's a pile of 24 flaperon ribs. These all needed to be deburred and prepared for priming. No so easy as the material is thin, and the parts are complex, and sharp.

The rest of the day was taken up with priming these parts, the previously-fabricated parts, and the flaperon spars. These, latter, are long so had to be primed in three sections as they passed through my priming booth. In all, it took me 12 shots with the spray gun to do these spars - 3 sections times four passes through the booth - top and bottom, and left and right flanges. Mixed success with the spray guns today, though I gave both a good clean up afterwards, so I am expecting great things next time around.

I refrained from taking a picture of the big puddle of primer on the garage floor. The paint can became unscrewed from the big gun, just after I had filled it of course. Went everywhere. Still, who cares if I add weight to the garage floor ;-)

Sandra's hairdryer is still working - unbelievable. However, it is starting to shed lumps of primer on my freshly painted parts, so it has not long for this world. Meanwhile, I tap in on the floor before starting to get the loose lumps out.
