Brief Description: Start attaching nose ribs to port wing
More satisfying work - attaching the nose ribs. The plans call for working from the tip inwards, just like the main ribs. The last few ribs (wing root walkway) look challenging due to lack of space to manoeuvre.
Picture 1 is most of the ribs done - just the difficult ones to do tomorrow ;-)
Picture 2 shows that I can still clear a big enough space to park Sandra's car. The shot is deceptive (also crappy). The work is slowly encroaching on free space, and already requires that I move around the workshow slowly and deliberately to avoid banging my head, tripping or whatever.
I'm thinking that wing number two is going to be a problem. The garage space can be reconfigured when we get to the fuselage (because I can use the wing rests), but there's a space problem brewing in the interim.
I'm pleased that everything is on wheels. Was worth paying for decent casters.
