After a blessing from my inspector, I was free to rivet the rudder.
Picture 1 shows the skin clecoed in place. It's probably an overkill to put clecoes in every hole, although it is strangely satisfying to put them all in then replace them all with rivets. What you cannot see is the yellow gunge that I applied to all of the mating surfaces beforehand. Everything lined up fine when I clecoed from the aft end first as instructed in the plans.
Picture 2 shows the end result after riveting. This assembly has been a long time gathering dust, so I was pleased it was finally complete.
