The horizontal stabiliser (stabilitor in US-speak, or tailplane in non-jargon) has a spar made of four surfaces with ribs. Lots of warnings in the plans and in the VAF web-site about getting the parts oriented the right way round.
I did find the plans quite hard to figure out, so it seemed easier to trial assemble it with clecos. After a couple of attempts everything matched the plans, so I guess I got it right. The first objective was to mark all of the holes that need to be countersunk.
