Brief Description: Second trial fit of the tail feathers
After dreaming of paint schemes, I spent some time doing something constructive.
I refitted the tail fin/rudder, the tailplane, and the fairing. The last attempt at trimming the tailplane skins was pretty good, particularly as I had broken my Dremel - but not perfect.
I marked up some areas for a final trim with my new Dremel, dismantled stuff and trimmed away. I'm pretty confident I can now paint the tail feathers and expect components to fit properly.
Only outstanding issue is the trial fit of the trim tab motor and mechanism. I'll plan to do that before painting the fairing which is the only area that will now need a hole to be drilled.
