Picture 1 shows a trial fit of the fairing on the aft fuselage. It is stuck on with duck tape. There's a fairly complicated process to prepare templates from masking tape to locate the fairing at the correct position on the rear fuselage.
Picture 2 shows the fairing removed again, and the "tabs" now installed on the inside surfaces of the fairing halves. The two halves are screwed together with nutplates on the tabs.
Picture 3 shows the tail fin and rudder installed for the first time on the fuselage. This was quite easy. The assembly is secured with 4 bolts on the front and 8 on the rear.
