Picture 1 shows the top fairing prior to starting work today.
Picture 2 shows the two halves fixed together with duck tape. The plans call for sanding to produce a "best fit" between the halves - whatever that means. In fact I keep making minor adjustments until the gap between the two parts was less than 1/16 inch.
Picture 3 shows 8 "tabs" drilled and clecoed on the outside (temporary). These will join the two halves together.
