Sandra's away today, so I got in a good day's labour.
Picture 1 shows the Dynon in place. One screw and it is secured to the mounting tray. A couple of plugs and it is wired up. Actually slightly more work than this. All the plugs at the AV Control Board end need shrink wrapping and back shells to be installed. No big deal.
Picture 2 shows the backing plate for the GPS. This needed prepping and priming which took some time. The GPS aerial is mounted on a backing plate, firewall forward, so more priming and painting there too.
Picture 3 shows the GPS in the panel. It was a very tight fit, but no filing was required. Won't come out too easily though.
