After some careful work with the rivet squeezers, I had successfully riveted these two parts together. I did not want to have to drill out rivets here, and risk damaging the paintwork.
Picture 2 shows the panel and the AV Control Board screwed to the aircraft structure, almost. The very last screw would not go in and then would not come out either. I could see the hex stand-off post that the screw attaches to was rotating. This is way down in the bowels of the unit, and there's no way I could get pliers, or anything else, at it.
