And now for something completely different. Time to start fitting the avionics.
The AV Control Board is delivered as shown in Picture 1 with all of the switches in place. I just pushed in the spade fuses, and put the keys in the ignition - clear prop! The unit just slots over the flange of the instrument panel floor, and is screwed on. More on that later.
Picture 2 shows the other side. I have labelled all of the sockets for plugs from the various avionics units. The big plug at the bottom is the main fuselage plug. I had hoped to order and install the autopilot at this time, but I'll need to wait for further funds, so I need to leave a couple of cables available for subsequent installation.
