Brief Description:  Roll Bar Handles

Decided to get the roll bar entry/exit handles from Aircraft Extras. Installation was easy and problem free, except that I drilled into my canopy slightly, making a scratch in the forward windscreen, above my head. It's not close to my line of sight, so I won't worry about it. I sanded down the sharp edges to keep it from cracking later. If it bugs me too much, I have a replacement windscreen I can use, but this one is all prepared, drilled etc. Don't ask me why I drilled the handles with the windscreen cleco'd in place. It was dumb. Don't ask. I bolted the handles on with hex bolts, so I can access them with a 90 degree hex wrench if I need to remove or tighten them someday. But they are in there very securely, and they are strong. The alignment of the two handles wasn't perfect, so I tried to bend one up slightly to match the other, and I was unable to budge them, despite several hard blows with the rubber mallot. GREAT NEWS! My panel is almost done, just wrapping up final wiring, and they expect to ship next week!!!
