Brief Description:  Right Wheel Fairing

Attached the nose wheel fairing with screws and admired my work. Looks pretty good. Then I started fitting the right wheel pant. I can only do so much, until I can jack the plane up, and then I will align both the leg fairings and the wheel fairings when the wheels are off the ground. I fit, then removed and trimmed, fit and trimmed and repeat until my dremmel battery died. Then I removed a strip of paint off the bottom of the engine for my engine heater I ordered yesterday. They recommend pre heating then engine when the OAT is 50 degrees or colder. I think I'll be operating in that plenty. The last thing I did was drill the two halves of the left wheel fairing after sanding the edges to get a better fit. When I started trimming the tire hole, my dremmel was done. Then I went to an airport commission meeting and tried to plead my case for a hangar. So far, no luck, but I also talked to a few guys at the airport that may be able to provide me some room to attach the wings, and get the first few flights flown off. Then I may have to move to a large community hanger either at my airport, or KTRI. Maybe I'll get to build a hangar next spring.
