Brief Description:  Nose Wheel Fairing

Removed the nose wheel fairing, and drilled the holes for the tow bar. Then I riveted on the platenuts to hold the two halves together. Then, I primed and riveted on the platenuts to the fairing bracket. Then I put a few layers of glass inside the fairing where the screws will attach. I also filled in the seam a little on top where the fit wasn't so great. Then I started messing around with how I'm going to lift the plane to align the fairings, and went and bought a large hydraulic jack. I found an adapter on ebay for ATVs and motorcycles, that might just work. I'll let you know. I cut a piece of redwood to place on top, and that should support the width of the fuselage, under the wing spar. The nose wheel really doesn't have to come up much, and the mains less than an inch, so I don't think there will be any problem with using this method.
