Brief Description: Gear Fairings
|
|
Had about an hour to kill before Mike Hathoway and Jim Summers came over for a tech counselor visit, to check out my firewall forward stuff. So, I worked a little on the gear fairings, cutting them to length after tracing the outline on them. Also cut the nose wheel leg fairing. Then the guys came over, and pointed out a few areas where I could improve some wiring. Jim told me to get everything off of the engine mount, except clamps that will hold wires and hoses. I had a few things directly zip tied to the mount, and he recommended against that. Also, I had my main alternator line a bit too tight, from being slightly too short, like I suspected a long time ago, so I'll replace that. Also, the fuel purge line is slightly too short, so I will replace that too. Otherwise, they seemed impressed.
