Layed up some strips of glass on the VS upper tip on the inside, to reinforce the first layer. Then I riveted on the Elevator tips. Finally, I went back to the VS upper tip, and trimmed off the excess, sanded the corners, and put a layer of resin and cotton fiber to smooth things out. After it cures, I'll sand and repeat as necessary to get a nice smooth finish.
