Brief Description:  Landing Lights

Finished the installation of the right landing light, with one minor glitch. The tape method of pulling the lens into place was great, until I had to remove the tape. I mistakenly taped too far into the lens, and tape residue stayed on the lens and was very difficult to remove. I still haven't gotten all of it off, and am going to try a pexi glass polisher later. I will have to remove the light when the wings are mated for good, to attach the wiring to the light. One down, one to go. Next time, I'll keep the tape near the edge. Later in the afternoon, got Amy to help me move the right wing back in the cradle, and move the left wing onto the table. Then I taped the template in position, drew the outline, and cut the hole for the left landing light. Then I deburred the hole. I also put two rivets in the tail of the fuselage that were left open for the rudder stop, which I won't be using, so I drilled, deburred, dimpled and riveted those two places.
