Brief Description:  Rudder attachment

Fabricated the rudder pedal attachment brackets out of the supplied stainless steel bar stock. Measured from inside the cockpit after putting the rudders where I think I would like them. Tough to tell without the seat cushions in, but I put some chair cushions in there and gave it my best estimate. Then I drilled those, and deburred the edges and holes, then I attached the cables to both the pedals and the rudder. Worked it back and forth a bit, to test, and applied the brakes to make sure I could apply full brakes with full rudder. Then I started on the tank attach brackets, but could only make one because I was short of the angle stock. Placed an order with Van's, since I still have some credit there. Made the left side bracket, and bent to 2.7 degrees using my digital level. Pretty awesome tool there. Drilled one hole, and attached to airplane. I'll drill the other hole after I have the wing on, and clamped to the fuel tank bracket, so I can match the angle to the plane. Finally, I put the left elevator counterweight on, using the band saw to trim, and the big hammer to fine tune. Attached with specified bolts.
