Brief Description:  fuel lines

Continued work on the fuel filter mount, and fuel lines. Decided to scrap one of the Bonaco supply lines and see if I could bend one satisfactorily. I did. Might do the other side, but after going through all that, decided to give the flexible line another try, and it connected okay too. So either way will be fine, but I think I'll leave the hard line in on the right side for now. See how it does. Fabricated the short piece that goes from the fuel selector valve to the fuel filter, and fabricated a mount that would raise the aft end up slightly, to allow better alignment with the pump. Then I fabricated a very short piece, less than 3 inches long that connects the filter with the pump. Ordered the 0 ring adapters from Bonaco, along with the brake lines and the fuel return line from the firewall to the fuel valve. Received the nose gear nut and cotter pin, and the missing VA-128. Van's sent me two of them for some reason... Installed the nose nut and measured the breakout force to somewhere around 15 llbs. 14 is specified, but 15 is close enough for me. Next will be drilling the nose gear threads for the cotter pin, and then mounting the nose gear. Ordered my exhaust from Vetterman, with the mufflers.
