Brief Description:  Cockpit stuff

Removed a stripped nut from the roll bar that's been bugging me for a while. It was a good day to remove that nut and replace the bolt with a slightly longer one, to get the required thread showage. Is that a word? Anyway, after replacing and torquing the nuts, I torqued the nuts on the nose wheel. Then I riveted in the side covers, using the specified pop rivets. No biggie there. Then I started in on the fuel pump/filter set up, and started figuring stuff out. The biggest dilema was the fuel pump fittings. It uses -6 flareless fittings, which are a bear to find. I'm still working on that. In the mean time, I'll get the mount for the filter made up next. My order for the nose gear mount nut is in, and as soon as I get that, I'll put the nose gear on. I have to buy a fish scale to set the "breakout" force, or the force required to turn the nosewheel from side to side to 14 pounds.
